Multiple barges are floating loose in the Hudson River near Irvington amid the Nor'easter, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
Two of the four to six barges thought to be from the Tappan Zee Bridge project have run aground, near State Line Lookout 2 in Alpine, N.J., said the Palisades Parkway Police.
Coast Guard officials said they are in the process of "intercepting" the barges and hoped to release additional information in the next hour.
The barges appear to be carrying construction equipment.
